Great drawing of the bags, Laurent, and what a nice way to start a trip! I look forward to seeing your sketches when you get back.

I like the crisp look of the first drawing. The plain background lets the eye enjoy the beautiful line work and soft washes to full effect.

I prefer the one with added background - to me it suggests more of a story - they have arrived somewhere mysterious - or maybe they have been left behind!
